Drummer Alex Bowman originally hails from Massachusetts, and when he's not busy holding down the rock solid backbeat of The Real, he can be found running his own independent construction company and dreaming of upcoming Phish shows.

An integral part of the band's progressive bent, Alex treats the drums as a lead instrument a la Keith Moon, but feels he will probably not be the band member who winds up dying. He began pursuing music in order to score "bucks, babes, and beer," but adds that so far "we've only got the beer covered."
